Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pound asparagus, steamed or grilled
  • 1 tablespoon pimento (roasted red pepper)

Instructions:

  1. Heat heavy cream in medium sauté pan over medium heat. Bring to boil and reduce cream by half, stirring or whisking frequently.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, add nutmeg and pour over cooked asparagus.
  3. Garnish with chopped roasted pimento.

Serves 4-6
