Group volunteers free time to maintain mountain trails
BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY, N.C. (WLOS) —
Western North Carolina's mountain trails are a thing of beauty, but their upkeep comes from a group unknown to many people.
As photojournalist Jordan Powell shows, in their off-time, the Carolina Mountain Club is working hard to maintain these trails.
The Carolina Mountain Club is a non-profit with no paid staff. They say they're always looking for volunteers to keep the club going.
Visit their website if you're interested in volunteering or learning more about the club.
