When it comes to making positive changes in our community, we know that age doesn’t matter and that there are many youth in Western North Carolina & the Upstate making a difference every day! That is why News 13 is excited to partner with ABC & Youth Service America for the ABC Summer of Service Awards that will recognize exceptional youth right here in our area. Specifically, we want to award two young individuals with a $1000 grant that will help them to continue their work with their favorite organization.
Do you know of a young person, between the ages of 5-18, who is continuing to make positive, on-going and lasting changes by helping people, our community or planet? We want to hear their story of service! We encourage you to help them apply for an ABC Summer of Service Award between now & September 1st. We will recognize two exceptional youth in our area and award the grants in the beginning of September.
