Ghost Hunters of Asheville

For the past 10 years, Ghost Hunters of Asheville have been bringing out the scares in downtown Asheville and in historic Monford. The company offers nightly walking tours, giving patrons an inside look at the age-old haunted tales told by 3 local professional storytellers who, combined, have 30 years of experience. The tours promise to show REAL paranormal photography taken by guests that are sure to raise the hair on the back of your neck!

The tours are limited to 16 people at a time so that the experience can be more hands-on and easy to understand. The tours are PG13, due to the violent nature of some of the stories. If accompanied by an adult, young children are allowed, but it’s recommended they exit the tour before 9 p.m.

Dark Ride Tours

Dark Ride Tours is a year-round adventure for anyone brave enough! The family business spawned from their love of Halloween three-years-ago when the Voyles’ hosted a party with a ghost tour theme. Today, patrons are in for the thrill of a lifetime as they ride in a real “haunted” 1972 Cadillac hearse to the most frightening ghost sites in Western North Carolina!

David Voyles with Dark Ride Tours says, “Our goal is to give our guests the combined experiences of several common Halloween activities year-round: going to a haunted house or haunted attraction, telling ghost stories in the graveyard, and participating in a haunted hayride. The hearse comfortably sits six guests and has a flat-screen TV that is mounted on an actual coffin that is used for showing movies, photos, and images of what's outside the hearse. Those images come from our infra-red camera We are Asheville's only haunted hearse ghost tour business. In addition to our original ghost stories (you'll hear stories with us that you won't hear anywhere else), our guests enjoy creepy short horror movies and dark-themed music videos.”
