NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Keith Urban says his newly expanded family is doing "superbly well." He writes on his Web site that like any new parents, he and wife Nicole Kidman are experiencing the "pure bliss" of welcoming their daughter into their lives. Sunday Rose was born last Monday. Urban says they "continue to be absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes." He says he can't wait for Saturday's night's stadium show in Philadelphia, adding, "My first gig as a father!"

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Julianne Hough has been nominated for an Emmy Award. She's up for "Outstanding Choreography" for her mambo routine on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." The winner will be announced Saturday, September 13th.

UNDATED (AP) -- Kix Brooks spent part of his tour break last week running for his life in Spain. But it was all in good fun. He took part in the annual Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. Brooks says he "got close" to the bulls. During the eight-day festival, several thousand people run through town, chased by six bulls and a pack of tame steers. Brooks says he's been wanting to do the heart-pounding run for years. He finally got his chance during his tour break, which he spent relaxing in Europe.

UNDATED (AP) -- Sara Evans has re-made the jingle for Libby's Vegetables. It's part of an effort to encourage families to get back to the table. The campaign kicks off September 1st, with Evans' country version jingle debuting on country music stations nationwide. Evans says family dinners are some of her most cherished childhood memories. She says today, as a busy mom, she makes it a personal goal to cook and sit down for family dinnertime at least three times a week. Also launching September 1st is a nationwide contest that will give one family the chance to have dinner with Evans backstage at one of her concerts. Singer-songwriter and "Nashville Star" judge Jeffrey Steele thinks it's because country music is a vacuum that's sucked up other genres like 70s rock, southern rock, pop and even R&B. Steele says it's also "a career move for a lot of these artists that have already had careers." He says it allows them to take their music to the next level "as their audience matures and gets older and may not be listening to the same kind of radio they were listening to 10 years ago." NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- This fall ABC brings viewers a slice of one of country music's hottest events. The network is airing a two-hour special of performances from last month's CMA Music Festival in Nashville. The "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" airs Monday, September 8th on ABC. Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler and Julianne Hough host the special, which was filmed in Nashville from June 5th through 8th. The special features performances by Trace Adkins, Billy Ray Cyrus, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Blake Shelton's next single, "She Wouldn't Be Gone," hits country radio on Monday. It's from his forthcoming album. Shelton predicts the song will be a fan favorite. He says he's always looking for "that song" -- something unique, something special, something that matters and "this song has all of the above." Plus, he says it has a knockout melody. The song goes on sale online July 29th.

MORRISTOWN, Ohio. (AP) -- Brad Paisley headlined yesterday's Jamboree in the Hills festival in eastern Ohio, which got under way with the annual Running of the Rednecks. That's what county music fans call the stampede through the amphitheater gates in Morristown, Ohio, where thousands of fans have been waiting since Monday. Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean and Gary Allan take the stage today. Reba McEntire and Brooks and Dunn headline tomorrow's lineup. Sugarland, Keith Anderson, Loretta Lynn and Paul Thorn help close the show Sunday. Morristown is 102 miles east of Columbus.
