Scout Sells Cookies at Pot Shop

A 13-year-old Girl Scout found a unique way drum up business for her cookies. 13-year-old Danielle Lei and her mom set up a cookie stand outside a marijuana dispensary in San Francisco. The dispensary, "The Green Cross," posted pictures of Danielle on its Facebook page. The idea worked, and Danielle sold 117 boxes in just two hours. Many people, including some Girl Scout troops, condemned the mother for letter her daughter sell at a pot shop. But Carol says it was a great way to start a discussion about drugs with her daughter. And "The Green Cross" invited them back tomorrow to sell more.
