A little candy treat is fine, but dentists say the kids
don't need the buckets of sweets they collected on Halloween and
some, like the Dentists at Asheville Pediatric Dentistry,
are willing to pay to keep the candy from damaging their teeth. News
13's Victoria Dunkle found out how their Halloween Candy Buy-back
program works. They will pay a dollar for every pound of candy a child brings to the
office today. Then it goes one step further. They will donate that
candy to Operation Gratitude. That organization will include the candy
and notes from the children in care packages
for our Troops. The Halloween Candy Buy-back program is from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at
Asheville Pediatric Dentistry at 76 Peachtree Road, Asheville.
