"Wee Trade" Sales Event

Updated: Friday, February 21 2014, 08:41 AM EST
The team behind Western North Carolina's largest Children's Consignment Sales Event are hoping to make up for the stormy start last week.

The winter weather impacted the start of Wee Trade's February sales event last weekend.  But this morning the Co-owners, Nina Miller and Rita London, showed News 13's Victoria Dunkle what they have restocked  to be ready for the bargain hunters this weekend.

For 12 years Wee Trade has helped local families consign their children's clothing, toys, strollers, car seats and more.  And the event has become a first stop for many budget-conscious families looking for deals on those items.

With 47,000 square feet of space in the Davis Event Center at the WNC At Center, Wee Trade has thousands of items for sale.   The Co-owners say having a list with the sizes for clothing is a great starting point.   They also say many of their seasoned Wee Trade shoppers start with equipment, like strollers, then move onto clothes, toys and others items.

And once again, women can shop the She Trade area. It includes Marternity clothes, shoes and handbags. Wee Trade is open Friday from 10:00 -7:00 and Saturday from 8:00- 3:00.
