Suspects in Macon County bus case on trial for attempted murder
MACON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) —
Two people are on trial on attempted murder charges in Macon County.
Adam Conley and Katherine Jeter are accused of threatening a school bus driver and a deputy at South Macon Elementary in June 2015.
Deputies said the two brought a cache of guns and ammo along with them.
At the time, the sheriff told News 13 the suspects said they would have shot students and teachers if it was "God's will."
