Three suspects charged with harboring Phillip Stroupe, II were also back in court Tuesday.

Frederick Badgero Jr., Jennifer Hawkins, and Larry Hawkins III made their first court appearance Monday in Buncombe County and were then re-arrested on additional charges.

All three are now charged with felony accessory after the fact of first-degree murder.

There was no bond change for the suspects.

Jennifer Hawkins appeared first, with the judge saying her bond will stay at $200,000. The judge said Larry Hawkins has multiple failures to appear and one past violent conviction.

All three are also charged with harboring an escapee.

All three maintain their innocence and say that Stroupe threatened them into cooperating with him.

They say they did not call 911 when Stroupe appeared because law enforcement would not believe them.

"They're still not going to believe us, no matter what," Jennifer Hawkins said. "Why would I call the authorities and say, 'Hey this man is at my house, I'm scared to death,' when you're not going to believe me no matter what?"
