The backlash continues after body-camera video was released of an officer punching and tasing an accused jaywalker.

Fake signage in Asheville, which we first told viewers about on Monday, has sparked more discussion about police and that body cam video.

The City of Asheville now says that at least 18 "No jaywalking" signs were bolted to existing street signs downtown.

The mock signs said "Violators are subject to abuse by the Asheville Police Department," and appear to be in response to the body-cam video.

The City of Asheville prosecutes vandalism cases. Anyone with information about the signs is urged to report it to the Asheville Police Department at 828-252-1110 or Asheville-Buncombe Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050.
