Kris Kristofferson, Jamey Johnson, Robert Earl Keen: MerleFest shares 2018 lineup

The lineup for Merlefest 2018 was announced Tuesday, and tickets went on sale at noon.

Savannah Smith and Southern Soul performed live on News 13 Tuesday morning. The Asheville-based band is one of the many to perform at what's considered one of the premier music festivals in the country.

The 2018 lineup includes headliners Kris Kristofferson and Jamey Johnson, as well as Robert Earl Keen, Sam Bush, The Devil Makes Three, Jim Lauderdale, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Peter Rowan, Balsam Range and many more.

The festival is April 26-29 at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro.
