ASHEVILLE, N.C -- More than 4,000 people were without power near downtown Asheville after a squirrel found its way into a substation.

According to Duke Energy's outage map, the outage was slated to be restored around 1 p.m., but customers had power again by 11:15 a.m. on Thursday.

A Duke Energy spokesperson said on Twitter the squirrel wasn't as lucky as their customers. #RIPSubstationSquirrel
