Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a special visit to Mission Hospital Thursday, to spread Christmas cheer.

Each year, all of the child patients receive a visit from Santa. On Thursday, the duo popped by to see children in the cancer center and pediatric intensive care unit.

Some patients were lucky enough to get a longer visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Our crew asked 12-year-old Keni what she talked about with the Claus couple.

"We were talking about what I like, what are my favorite colors and what I like to do on Christmas," says Keni Martinez-Morales.

The visit from Santa lifted their spirits. Of course the hope is that these children will be out of the hospital and able to spend Christmas morning at home.

Mrs. Claus also helped pass out coins during the visit to let all the kids know they are on the "nice list."
