SILVER ALERT issued for missing, endangered Winston-Salem child

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered child, Savion Martell Edwards.

People are asked to be on the lookout for Savion, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

He is described as an 11-year-old black boy, 5' 2" tall and weighing 90 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing an army fatigue jacket with a lime green liner; a red, white, and black shirt; green and blue pants; and gold and black shoes.

Savion was last seen on Camden Ridge Drive in Winston Salem.
