FOX-N-OTTER Adventure Puzzle Rooms and Breakout Games

FOX-N-OTTER offers escape rooms for families with 8-12 year olds, and more advanced rooms for older teens and adults. At Breakout, you have just one goal: escape the room in under an hour. "You’ll solve puzzles, crack codes, find hidden items, and more in order to escape."

The WNC Nature Center

Since so much of this nature have is outdoors, it's not the best choice for cold, snowy, or rainy days. But on a sunny winter day it's a treat for animal lovers.

Fired-Up Creative Lounge and Claying Around are two local places to spend the day painting and creating together.

The Hop Ice Creamery and both Hop Ice Cream locations

The Hop's two cafes sell ice cream (and are both great places to hang out), while the creamery gives fun tours. Both locations do free, kid-centered events with music, dance and more.

Climbmax and the Smoky Mountain Adventure Center both offer indoor climbing for all ages. Climbmax is downtown on Wall Street and the SMAC is by the river on Amboy Road.
