Woman charged with stalking, larceny, assault after Friday night burglary
HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. -- A woman has been charged with stalking, larceny, and assault after a Friday night burglary in Henderson County.
Following a report of a burglary in progress Friday night, deputies with the Henderson County Sheriff's Office charged Laurence Marie Dorn, of 115 East Jefferson Street, Clinton Illinois, with second-degree burglary, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor stalking, assault and battery, and interfering with emergency communication.
The accuser returned home Friday night to find Dorn in her residence. After a struggle, she was able to flee her residence and call 911.
A short time later deputies were able to locate Dorn and place her under arrest without further incident.
Laurence Marie Dorn is currently being held in the Henderson County Jail under a $60,000 bond.
