Every year, Carolina Day School has an Arts Day. It's actually about the acting.

These high school seniors are taking part in a game of questions. The budding actors are using their brains and quick wit to keep up with their classmates' replies.

"I think we're learning basic communication skills and how to bounce off of one another and how to feel the vibes in the room and when it's appropriate to speak and when it's appropriate to kind of be meek in the situation, which is really awesome," senior Molly said.

"Even if I'm not performing at Arts Day, I look forward to seeing everybody share their gifts and their poetry or their singing. It's just an amazing day to see what people have up their sleeves that they don't share at school," Alexandra, a junior, said.

A dance workshop, music and talent show are part of the day to highlight the arts. Kids say it's nice to put away the books for a day and enjoy each other's company.
