Gingerbread houses now on display at Omni Grove Park Inn

You can now see more than 100 gingerbread creations at The Omni Grove Park Inn. It’s the 25th year for the National Gingerbread House Competition and the Grove Park saw 170 entries pour in.

On News 13 This Morning. Lauren Brigman gives viewers a glimpse at some of the entries, including the grand prize winner. Ann Bailey from Cary, North Carolina, took home the gold.

The competition was held on November 20th, with the creations on display beginning November 26th.

You have until January 4th to view the entries. Twelve of this year’s entries are also on display at the Grove Arcade, in downtown Asheville.

Guests not staying at the resort can view the display after 3pm on Sundays or anytime Monday through Thursday based on parking availability.

There is a minimum $20 parking fee for all drive-on guests, per vehicle. Representatives with The Omni Grove Park Inn say that half of each parking charge collected this holiday season is returned to the community through local non-profits.
