Learning the science of sound at summer camp
Asheville, N.C. (WLOS) —
The Bob Moog Foundation is partnering with Asheville Museum of Science to offer a sonic exploration summer camp, underway now in Asheville.
The "science of sound" camp is for kids ages 7-10. Campers will explore how sound is made, how it travels and how it is heard, by using various instruments. The week-long camp is being offered August 7th - 11th and again August 14th - 18th from 9am until 1pm at the Asheville Museum of Science STEM lab.
Camp instructor, Brooks Butler, gives a live demonstration of some of the lessons that will be taught, on News 13 This Morning.
