Father's Day is this weekend, but there is still time to find a gift that carries a special meaning.

On News 13 This Morning, Lauren Brigman takes us inside "Mountain Made" in the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville.

Melinda Knies has owned the shop for 15 years and says each item in her store is made in Western North Carolina. Click here for information on all of the artists featured in her store.

Watch the video to see local author, Ben Anderson describe his new book "Smokies Chronicle" and how it could be helpful for dads who love the outdoors, especially hiking. There are also handmade walking sticks and poison ivy soap in the shop.

If you're dad has a desk job, a business card holder or handmade pen could make his day. Watch the video to see craftsman Bill Wanezek explain how his products are made. Click here to find out more about how he got his start as an artist.
