Wake Up Workout: Diabetes Prevention

Diabetes prevention is the theme in this week's Wake Up Workout.

Roxanna Pepper, an instructor with YMCA Hendersonville joined us in studio. She is a part of Diabetes Prevention Program at the YMCA in Hendersonville. Pepper says, the program helps people lose 7% of body weight. Eating habits, lack of exercise puts us all at risk for diabetes. Education about how to be mindful of incorporating physical activity, movement, and better eating habits with less fat - decreases that risk.
