Woman walks into police station to talk crime ends up arrested for meth possession

Shelly Grzywacz was charged with possession of meth.

A woman who went to the west El Paso police station to talk to officers wound up being arrested for possession of drugs.

Police said Shelly Grzywacz went to the police station to talk to officer about crime issues.

The officers said they noticed that Grzywacs was in no condition to drive and offered to help her get home.

The woman agreed, then removed three zip lock baggies from her front pocket that contained meth and set them on the counter, police said.

Grzywacs was arrested for possession of 7.28 grams of methamphetamine and was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $15,000 bond.
