RAW: Garth Brooks performs in Greenville, SC after 25 years away
GREENVILLE, S.C. (WLOS) —
For the first time in 25 years, Garth Brooks is playing a show in Greenville, S.C. Before the show got started, Brooks spoke with News 13.
Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, addressed the media in a press conference prior to the one-on-one interview.
They opened the floor up to any and all questions, which included topics like their successes together, why they're making a comeback and their personal life.
Garth Brooks said he's humbled by his new and old fans and is excited to be back in Greenville.
"We had a great time the last time we played here, so we're back for more," Brooks said. "The great thing is the pressure is not on us, just so you know. It's on you guys because we remember what happened here last time, and we've come back for more of it."
As for his new album that comes out Nov. 25, Garth Brooks said, "it's the most Garth album we've ever done."
