After only a week of school kindergarteners are already catching on to their new routine.
They already know how to walk in a line, to keep quiet in the hallways, and even the school rules.
Students in Ms. Alverson's class are working in groups at six different activity centers.
They're doing everything from identifying upper and lower case letters, to recognizing "the things they see at school", like a bus, a backpack, and scissors.
The activities teach them to work as a team or independently, and teachers say all is going well.
