Coast to Coast Read-A-Thon
Updated: Monday, March 18 2013, 08:28 AM EDT
All this month students through out the country are reading in celebration of Dr. Suess's birthday.
As you'll see in our Never Stop Learning report.."they're reading here, reading there, reading, reading everywhere."
Students at Upward Elementary School are participating in a " coast to coast" Read-A-Thon. They're trying to read their way across the country.
They're tracking their progress on a giant map in the school's foyer.
Each grade level is assigned a route and a sticker is placed on the map each time a student passes a test on their completed book.
The school uses the "big 6 and super 3 research process" to learn about the cities and towns once they reach their destination
