Lemonade for Oklahoma

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 10:18 PM EDT
You know the old saying "when life gives you lemons make lemonade"?

Well that's exactly what some mountain students did

And the Oklahoma tornado victims will be the ones benefiting from the kids "Labor of Love".

Dylan and his neighborhood friends are setting up shop.

This morning they're hoping to make a difference one glass at a time.

The kids say they feel blessed because they have a home and a school, unlike some of the children in Moore, Oklahoma.

That's why they decided to open their business, donating their profits to the storm victims!

The kids sold $207 worth of lemonade and a local business matched that amount.

Dylan says he got the idea to set up the stand from school.

The rising 4th graders says at Estes Elementary students are taught to be aware of the community around them and the importance of "pitching in" in times of need.              Lemonade for Oklahoma
