Even though they wear big goggles and a white lab coat, they think of themselves as a cool class.

Check out how these hands on experiments are turning science class into super science class.

5th graders at Sandhill Venable Elementary School are mixing baking soda and vinegar together to create quite a reaction.

This is the schools new science lab, it's used by nearly 800 students in grades K through 5th. Here students gather data, make observations and draw conclusions.

A nearly $13,000 donation from The Biltmore Lake Charitable Fund paid for the furniture, supplies, lab coats, and much more for this special room.

Teachers and students say it's great to have a place to go to conduct their experiments.New Science Lab
