Teen Driving Safety

Updated: Thursday, February 20 2014, 08:27 PM EST
Listen up teens, we know you think you know everything about driving safely.

You've heard it from your parents, your teachers, maybe even your friends. Today, students are getting a few extra reminders.

10th and 12th grade students at Erwin High School are participating in the "I Know Everything" teen driver safety program.

It's kind of like a game show. The presenter asks questions about several topics like distracted driving, late night driving, or speeding.

Each student who has their own remote submits an answer. After they are given some time to discuss the question, the correct answer is shown on the big screen so students can learn if they really are driving safely.

The student's answers will be compiled into a nationwide survey of teen drivers from high schools across the country.

The results will help bring awareness to the gaps of what teen drivers really know. Teen Driving Safety
