It's an explosion of music and dance, and the kids love it!

In our Never Stop Learning report, we introduce you to one woman who is keeping kids on the move.

She lost 89 pounds and she says she did it by making all the right moves.
And now she sharing her love of music and movement with students in Henderson County.

It's a zumba class at Upward Elementary School.
Fitness instructor Tonya Lindsey is volunteering her time to show the students that exercise can be fun.

She's visiting this week as part of the Healthy Kids Program.
The one time law enforcement officer says two years ago she started exercising and eating right.

That decision changed her life and she wants to share it with others.
Tonya Lindsey, Twisty Sister Fitness, "it's weight loss it gets children moving. It introduces them to a different style of sports you know dance as a sport."

Lindsey says she also talks to the kids about eating healthy and making sure they exercise whenever they can.

And as part of the healthy kids program a chef visits the school to talk with the kids about choosing foods that are good for you and that taste good too!Zumba Dance Fitness
