Welcome to Cruising the Carolinas!  A News 13 web exclusive feature showcasing some of the best riding roads our viewing area has to offer.  There's over 133 miles of North Carolina located west of Asheville that is filled with some of the best views and attractions in the country.  There are mile-high mountains, pristine lakes glistening on sunny days, old growth forests hundreds of years old, and small communities rich with culture and charm.

Cruising the Carolinas will feature each week between Memorial Day and Labor Day a trip of the week which will explore the region in which we live in.  And as for those who live in the Upstate of South Carolina, we haven't forgotten about you either, and will showcase trips from your region as well.

Each trip will feature a synopsis, tips, and downloadable maps that will give viewers a wonderful riding experience... all of the trips have been personally driven by members of the News 13 staff who are avid riding enthusiasts.  So good in fact, that News 13 would like for those of you who try out these trips, to send us photos of your experience for us to post on our webpage.
