Interview With Upstate Apparel Company About Olympic Uniform Controversy

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 09:21 PM EDT

Loggerhead Apparel of Greenville says it could have made American Olympic uniforms more quickly and more sustainably. The company tweeted about the heated issue to ABC News and wound up on "World News Tonight" last Friday. The controversy exploded when word got out that the Ralph Lauren USA uniforms were actually made in China. Loggerhead, which prides itself on being American made, says the brief appearance on network TV led to a flood of orders. Here is the unedited interview with co-owner Sara Painter of Loggerhead Apparel.
