Updated: Wednesday, September 11 2013, 10:20 PM EDTAn Asheville gas station erupted in flames when a tractor trailer crashed into it. News 13 has obtained the frantic calls for help. Some callers were scared the gas pumps were going to explode.The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Plus gas station on Patton Avenue. Surveillance video from the store shows the big rig plow through the gas pumps and then a fire ball. Asheville police say the driver was not seriously injured. Firefighters were able to put the flames out quickly, but the damage is extensive.Gas station managers say the store will be open by Friday. But it could take a month to get the gas pumps up and running. The name of the truck driver has not been released.Truck Hits Gap Pumps
