A three month investigation by News 13 uncovers repeated cases of government workers found liable in dozens of car crashes. The wrecks involving government vehicles have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages, all billed to taxpayers. The problem is widespread across the mountains, but News 13 zeroed in on four local governments including Asheville, Buncombe County, Hendersonville, and Henderson County. Among them, there were at least 74 car crashes in 11 months last year.Special Report: Crash Costs
