Brasstown's Possum To Drop At Midnight

The annual New Year's Eve Possum Drop in Brasstown will go on as scheduled, but it's just not clear which kind of possum they'll be dropping at midnight.
Last month, a judge sided with the animal right's group PETA saying the North Carolina Wildlife Commission didn't have the authority to grant a permit for the event.
Organizers tell News 13 they'll make a decision by 10 p.m. tonight as to whether the Possum Drop will include a live possum, a stuffed possum or a roadkill possum.
