Brown Water Notice

The City of Asheville sends a reminder to water customers that they could be seeing discolored or brown water for the next few weeks. Customers got a phone call Tuesdsay saying the discoloration could last through the middle of March.
As we reported last week, that's because the city is working on water lines. Cameras are being used to evalute the condition of the lines that which is stirring up sediment.
The city says customers should not cook or drink discolored water, or wash clothing in it. If you are experiencing brown water, call the city at (828) 251-1122.
