Bundling Up To Run

More than a thousand runners are gearing up for the first Asheville Marathon. On Sunday morning, 1,300 people will run on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate.
Race organizers are telling runners to bundle up, it's is going to be a cold 26.2 miles. The race will go as planned no matter the weather. Temperatures are expected to be well below freezing.
Local restaurants and hotels have welcomed the runners to town with open arms.
The marathon begins Sunday at 7 a.m. Runners can pick up their race packets Saturday at the Biltmore Double Tree Hotel.
