Dairy Cliff Concerns

The price of milk may nearly double next month.
With Congress focused on the fiscal cliff, some believe it's unlikely lawmakers will tackle the country's Farm Bill in time to avoid huge spikes in agriculture prices. The Senate has already passed a Farm Bill, but the House of Representatives have not.
House and Senate leaders may agree to a one-year extension of the 2008 Farm Bill that expired in October. The anticipation is making local dairy farmers nervous.
