Deadly Morning Crash

A 46 year old Cliffside man is dead after his SUV crossed the center line on Highway 221 this morning and collided with an 18-wheeler.
Authorities say a Ford Explorer, driven by Joseph Roach, crossed the center line on US 221 at Hines Road just after 2 a.m. Thursday morning.
Neither the truck driver nor his passenger were injured.
The collision resulted also in a fuel spill that required the road to be closed until after 7 a.m.
