Finding Fun In The Snow

Little Walter Currie, IV of Weaverville seems to perfectly understand the beauty of a snow day.
"It's fun because you can throw snowballs and stuff and it's fun because it makes you cold and you get to eat hot chocolate."
He must have learned this from grandfather Walter Currie, II.
"Well I like getting out in the brisk air in makes you think about hot chocolate and popcorn and things like that."
Mid-sentence, he's hit by a snowball. The Curries spent the morning sledding in their front yard in Weaverville.
Across the street, Megan Bowman and her boys went out with simple intentions.
"We are just going for a walk around the neighborhood to see it all white."
But after awhile, they ended up in a snowball fight.
"I'm having fun because I am having a snowball fight with one of my friends and I am winning so far," declares Gabe Bowman, who have himself the edge over Eli Lanning.
This was far from the blizzard of '93, but for families it was a chance to make memories for a lifetime.
And the blast of snow gave them a snowball's chance.
