First Citizen's Bank Robbery

Buncombe County deputies continue their search for a woman who robbed a bank on Leicester Highway Wednesday afternoon.


They say a woman entered the First Citizen's Bank wearing a black hoodie and scarf over her face. She gave the teller a note and ran away with cash. Witnesses say she darted right out into traffic on the busy road and got a way.
