Women are offered free mammogram screenings at a convenient location.
The "Belk Gives on the Go" mammography bus is parked in front of the Belk department store at the Blue Ridge Mall.
Licensed technologists provide the screening for women age 40 and over, who have not had a mammogram in the past 12 months.
The confidential results are then sent to the patient and her doctor.
Emmy Miller, Mobile Mammography Center, "what Belk is doing is providing a free mammogram for patients who do not have insurance, you just have to be 40 and above, you have a doctor to send the report to, and other than that, get an appointment, that is it."
Screenings will continues tomorrow from 9:30am until 7pm.
