Funeral Home Investigated Over Missing Remains
Updated: Wednesday, March 20 2013, 09:39 AM EDT
The owner of a defunct Henderson County funeral home is under criminal investigation over at least five missing bodies.
Richard Mosley owned South Park Funeral and Cremation Service and is already facing several felony charges. William Suggs says he hired South Park in January to cremate his 83-year-old father, Claude Suggs.
Three months later, there is no sign of Suggs' remains and William is demanding answers. Now, state investigators from the Board of Funeral Service are involved.
Mosley also has an extensive criminal past including convictions for worthless checks and theft. He later contacted News 13's Mario Boone to dispute Suggs' remains are missing. He declined to speak on camera until consulting with his lawyer.
