Gun Show Preview

Gun owners and enthusiasts will flock to the western North Carolina Ag Center this weekend.
The Land of Sky Gun and Knife show opens tomorrow and it's become an easy target for the anti-gun lobby.
It's quite clear that gun sales have been through the roof, since the political rhetoric around gun control started increasing after the Connecticut school shooting.
The organizer of the Land of Sky Gun and Knife show this weekend is predicting a huge crowd, he says the people who show up here are law abiding citizens who are concerned about their right to bear arms.
Yesterday, ten gun control bills were introduced in Congress on it's first day of session, one includes legislation to stop person to person private gun show sales.
Show promoter Mike Kent says that would be a huge mistake. Kent says, "in every country where they've instituted a gun registry, the next step down the road is gun confiscation." He says it's been tried in several countries where crime rates have all escalated.
The gun show is Saturday and Sunday at the WNC Ag Center.
