Help Needed Identify Robbery Suspect

On April 5th at 6:37 p.m. APD officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at Walmart  on Hendersonville Road. Officers were able to determine from video that the suspect left in what is believed to be a red Pontiac Firebird model year between 1996-2002.
 
Witnesses describe the suspect as a 5’ 10” white male with a black Asheville Tourist baseball hat, Asheville Tourist black sweat shirt, khaki pants, black gloves and brown shoes.  He was also wearing a stocking over his face with the eyes cut out and dark rimmed glasses on.  The Walmart video shows the suspect “casing” the store prior to the robbery wearing a green jacket and a different hat.
 
The suspect demanded money from the clerk, stating he had a gun.  The suspect left the store with an undetermined amount of cash.  No injuries were reported.
