Man Chokes On Chip, Crashes Into Nativity

A mountain town is without their Christmas display this year. A man lost control of his pick-up truck and ran over Old Fort's nativity scene Monday.
Old Fort says it cost about $6,000 in damages. The town says it's not uncommon for cars to drive too fast through town, but the cause of this accident is a first.
Town Alderman Charles Pyles says he watched the driver of the pickup come speeding through town. Pyles says he saw the truck go airborne and land on the nativity scene. The accident destroyed most of the Christmas display, including Jesus, Mary and Joseph. The driver told everyone he was eating potato chips, when one got caught in his throat and blacked out. Pyles says it's a Christmas miracle no one was killed and says he's looking at the positive.
Old Fort says they've already ordered a new nativity scene, but the town is not sure if it will be here in time for Christmas.
