Mother Charged In Baby's Death

A Madison County mother charged with murdering her infant daughter was in court Monday.
Investigators say 25-year-old Brandi Cochran killed her six month old baby girl by shaking her. Doctors discovered the injuries last Wednesday when the mom reported the child was having trouble breathing.
Outside the courthouse Monday, Cochran insisted she is innocent.
Investigators say Cochran has at least one other child. They also say there does not appear to be any history of abuse.
