Neill Federal Sentencing

Updated: Wednesday, April 24 2013, 06:05 PM EDT
A disbarred Henderson County attorney, who admitted to cheating his clients out of millions of dollars, learns his fate.

Sam Neill was sentenced to three years in prison on the federal charges this morning.

In April 2012, he pleaded guilty to one count of federal tax fraud and confessed to bilking clients out of roughly $3 million.

In exchange for that plea, he could get up to 3 years in prison and have to pay restitution to his victims.

He also faces a sentencing on state charges, but that date is not set yet.

News 13's Sherrill Barber will have more on this for you later today.Neill Federal Sentencing
