Nixle Crime Alert System Comes to WNC

Local law enforcement is expanding its' services to social media.
The Polk County Police Department has just signed up for the "Nixle Crime Alert System".
It's an email and text message system where you can keep "up to date" on things going on in your area.
For example if there is a search for a suspect, a burglary, or some kind of school alert, you'll receive a message on your cellphone or computer so your can stay informed.
