Northeastern Storm Causes Local Delays

What happens when a wintry blast barreling across the country meets an east coast cold front?
You have a recipe for a monstrous, possibly historic blizzard, and millions of Americans are in its path.
With a snowstorm that big, air traffic delays can be expected as folks try to take flights and connecting flights to major cities.
Asheville Regional Airport does not have any direct flights to the snow zone.
Many travelers from the mountains do make the hour or so drive to Greenville to fly out.
The Greenville Airport is expecting delays as we go into the weekend.
They suggest folks call the airline and check on their individual flights.
